International broadcaster „Deutsche Welle” invited me to talk about my profession as a skateboardphotographer for their youth-program called „PULSE“. You can listen to the show online behind this link right here. To see the gallery accompanying the audio-feature, please click here and see a selection of shots featuring skaters of the likes of Ben Wessler, Felix Lensing, Fabian Lang or Kevin Wenkze, just to name a few.

This has been fun, I hope you like it. Thank you to Kate and Jessie for having me.

„25 years of street-fashion and more” is Frontlineshops invitation to a journey through their inspiration throughout their development into one of Germanys first and foremost retailers for urban fashion and sneakers.

Well, obviously skateboarding is a big part of this and I was happy to contribute to this great volume.

The Book is part-linen-bound, sports several different grades of paper and includes a wide variety of photography from the fashion- and lifestyle-sector, all in all showing a strong self-conception in an associative, free-thinkers way.

Transition-wunderkind Kevin Wenzke, going over the window at one o’ clock easy – the spot this was taken at is long gone, Kevin is still ripping though and just scored the cover of Monster Skateboard Magazine #304.

One of my all-time favorites shows Ben Wes on the Brooklyn-side of East River in New York. Frontside Rock.
Glad, these two (photographs and skaters) could be a part of this book-release now, too.

A big thank you to Agi & So Wow for making it happen!

German rapper Laas Unltd. published his fourth solo album a couple weeks ago. A few months prior, we met up in Cologne to shoot the photos for the accompanying booklet in just a couple of hours in between studio-time.

Now I finally get around to post some of the photos.

Pretty good to see this on the rack wrapped in a nice Menschlabor design. If you're interested, get the longplayer and more information about Laas on his website!

And they just keep coming. The second covershot this month graces #302 of Monster Skateboard Magazine and accompanies the highly anticipated interview of 21-year-old Fabian Lang.
We've been working on this for quite some time now and I'm happy to see it in print. Even better we could top things off with this covershot, taken on the streets of Brooklyn and one of my personal all-time-favourites for sure. Spotwise, trickwise – and skaterwise.

Congratulations, Fabi. We did it!

Null22Eins is a new magazine on the cultural landscape of Cologne. Free of charge, Null22Eins aims to become a messenger for the dynamic cultural scene of this adopted city of mine.
More then enough reasons for me to feel honored being a part of the very first issue of this very special printed matter. Null22Eins did a couple of pages on „Incidentals“, my 2010 bookrelease. Little did I know they planed to also let one of the photographs from the book grace their cover.

A big thank you to Sehnaz and the whole staff – you made my week!
Make sure to get a copy of this new and exiting magazine or at least flip through it online via issuu.com/null22eins-magazin.

See a preview of the article on „Incidentals“ after the jump.
